ISO Certifications: Why are they so important to our business?

ISO (International Standards Organisation) offers international standards across a wide range of disciplines. Audits are performed to ensure compliance with the standard and certificates are awarded by an independent external body.

We hold ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management).

Evolution and development has always been a core part of MRM’s business ethos and a key element of our vision is to continuously improve the quality and range of services for our clients’ promotional marketing campaigns.

To remain competitive in our marketplace and ensure we offer added value, we remain committed to the consistent provision of quality products and services that will satisfy and exceed the demands and expectations of our customers.

To ensure this happens, and to provide a framework for measurement, MRM operates a Quality Management System (QMS) which ensures conformance to standards and prevailing codes of practice. This ensures all our processes are correct; our records are accurate and are aimed at service delivery of the highest quality. It also promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

As a service business, we recognise that everyone here plays an important role in our QMS, so all colleagues are encouraged to suggest improvements through our Action Logs and Continuous Improvement Programme. Similarly, we invite our clients to complete our customer satisfaction questionnaires in order to gather feedback on our services and continually improve.  We embrace this opportunity to listen to our clients to obtain their constructive feedback and to deliver sustainable solutions.

We take our certifications incredibly seriously as they form an important framework to our business and demonstrate to the outside world our commitment to maintaining internationally recognised standards. MRM invests significantly each year in dedicated resource to ensure these and other accreditations remain at the heart of our company ethos.

We continue to obtain full value from these certifications by embracing the standards and processes around them ~ these provide the framework to enable us to continuously challenge ourselves and to analyse and measure project and organisational performance.  At MRM these are seen as a vital component to improve the services that we provide and to achieve best practice and best value for our clients.
